My Role: Concept Lead and Designer
Impact: Recognised individually as a finalist in the Creative Rising Star category at the Prolific North Creative Awards 2024, celebrating inclusive, people-led brand storytelling and creative leadership.
To connect with audiences in a more human and emotionally resonant way, I led the creative concept and design for a Valentine’s Day organic social activation that reinterpreted investment messaging through a playful, culturally relevant lens.
The objective was to soften the tone of financial content without undermining trust. Using humour and warmth, the campaign expressed appreciation for customers while remaining aligned with interactive investor’s brand voice and credibility.
I developed a series of static social posts built around investment-themed Valentine’s puns, paired with bold, on-brand visuals that felt light-hearted yet considered. Strong use of colour, typography and character-led illustration helped the content stand out organically within a typically serious, finance-led feed, while maintaining consistency with established brand guidelines.
Designed for shareability and engagement, the activation encouraged positive interaction and strengthened brand affinity without relying on paid amplification. The external recognition at the Prolific North Creative Awards reinforces the project’s impact and reflects my approach to culturally aware, people-first design that balances personality with performance.
